Size Guide
Every Hannah Daye piece is made by hand, so we want it to fit just right. Here's how to find your size at home. If you're unsure, ask us before you order. We're always happy to help.

Rings
Our rings use standard US sizes. Each ring shows the sizes we have ready to ship. Need a whole size that isn't listed? We can make it for you, usually in 3–4 weeks. Half sizes are also available as custom orders. Custom orders are final sale, so please measure carefully first. Just get in touch.
Three ways to find your size
1. Measure a ring you already own (most accurate at home). Choose a ring that fits the finger you're shopping for. Lay it flat on a ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimeters. Find the closest match in the "Inside diameter" column below.
2. Measure your finger with a strip of paper. Cut a thin strip of paper about 1/4" wide. Wrap it around the base of your finger, snug but not tight, and mark where the paper overlaps. Lay it flat and measure from the end to your mark in millimeters. Find the closest match in the "Circumference" column. Paper works better than string, which can stretch and throw off the measurement.
3. Visit any local jeweler. Most jewelers will size your finger for free in a minute or two. It's the most reliable option if one is nearby.

Tips for a good fit
- Measure at the end of the day, when your hands are warm. Fingers are smaller in the morning and in the cold, and swell in heat.
- Wide bands fit more snugly. For our wider designs, such as the Brillante, Oslo Band, and Oslo Bezel rings, consider going up a half size.
- Check your knuckle. The ring needs to slide over it. If your knuckle is noticeably larger than the base of your finger, size for the knuckle.
- Between two sizes? Choose the larger one.
- Buying a gift? Borrow a ring she wears on the same finger and use method 1. If a whole-size ring doesn't fit, you can exchange it for another size within 30 days of delivery.

Necklaces
Many of our pendants and chains come in several lengths. Here is roughly where each one sits on an average adult. Height, build, and neckline all make a difference, so if you're unsure, lay a piece of string around your neck at each length and look in a mirror.

Layering tip: keep about 2" between chains, for example 16" + 18" or 18" + 20", so the pieces don't tangle.
Bracelets
Wrap a soft measuring tape or a strip of paper snugly around your wrist, just above the wrist bone, and measure it. Then add about 1/2" for a close fit or about 1" for a looser, more relaxed drape. That total is your bracelet length.

Size exchanges & custom sizes
- Getting it right the first time is best. If you're between sizes or unsure, email john@hannahdaye.com or call 401-486-8955 before you order. A real person will help you, usually John.
- Whole sizes, whether ready to ship or made to order: if your ring doesn't fit, contact us within 30 days of delivery and ship the ring back to us. You cover shipping to us, and we'll send you the right size with shipping on us. If that size isn't in stock, Alison will make it, usually in 2–3 weeks.
- Why an exchange instead of resizing? Resizing a stone-set ring puts stress on the setting and can damage the stone. Sending you a ring made in your size keeps your piece exactly as Alison made it.
- Whole sizes not listed can be made to order in 2–3 weeks.
- Half sizes are custom orders, made in 2–3 weeks. Like all custom orders, they are final sale.
